Route description to Klein Paradijs from Cape Town and the Garden Route

From Cape Town
Take the N2 to the airport and Somerset West, cross the Sir Lowry's and Houw Hoek Passes. Take the Hermanus (R43) / Kleinmond turnoff immediately following the Botrivier turnoff.

Alternatively, after leaving Somerset West, turn right into the R 44 through Gordon's Bay and follow Clarence Drive along the coast through Rooiels, Pringle Bay, Betty's Bay and Kleinmond. Then turn right into the R 43 to Hermanus. This is the longer, but more scenic route.

In both cases, drive past Fisherhaven, Hawston, Vermont, Onrus. Drive through Hermanus. Look for signs to Stanford and Gansbaai. Drive past Stanford and through Gansbaai. Twenty-one kilometres past Gansbaai, you will come to the Pearly Beach crossing and you will see a Klein Paradijs sign on your left. Turn left into the gravel road to Elim/Napier. Drive about 500 meters until you see another sign on your left. Turn left again. Come to the Country House to check in.
 
From the Garden Route (George/Knysna)
Drive through Riviersonderend on the N2 and then take the R 326 to Stanford. Just outside Stanford turn left into the R 43 and drive to Gansbaai. Twenty-one kilometres past Gansbaai, you will come to the Pearly Beach crossing and you will see a Klein Paradijs sign on your left. Turn left into the gravel road to Elim/Napier. Drive about 500 meters until you see another sign on your left. Turn left again. Come to the Country House to check in.
